What A Skipped Year Actually Costs

A furnace rarely gives much warning before the coldest week of the year.

  1. A dirty flame sensor

    Lights the burners and then shuts them off again. Cleaned on a visit, it never becomes a no heat call.

  2. A worn igniter

    Found in the fall it is a quick part swap. Found in January it is a cold house.
