Ductless mini split systems are advantageous to the homeowner in many ways. How will you benefit from a new ductless AC and heating system?

No major renovations. When you add central AC to a home, it usually means major renovations that take days to complete (in order to add ducts into the house). Ductless air conditioning and heating installation generally take about a day, and the only renovation is a small hole drilled into the wall.
Efficient whole-home cooling. Ductless mini split systems are highly efficient, and they can have the same SEER (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) ratings as some of the most efficient air conditioners on the market. They also save money since you can control one zone of the house separately from the others.
Ductless heating and AC in one. Ductless air conditioners are also heaters! Heat pumps can move heat out of a home and into a home, providing efficient heating for a portion of the season.
